Super Bloom is inspired by the burst of California poppies that dot the coast every Spring. The painting dreamily merges different varieties of poppies to evoke a sense of the dream states. Ingestion of the California poppies in teas and tinctures is believed to induce vivid dreams and restorative sleep. The Painting dreamily merges different varieties of poppies to evoke a sense of the dream states produced by them. The super bloom painting represents Spring and Summer as a time of dreaminess, pleasure, and rest. It also pays homage to the vignette of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz falling asleep in a field of poppies.

Butterfly Lagoon reflects Lise's childhood fantasy of secret cove where the wonders of the sky and sea meet. Here. prismatic rainbows glisten from the sunlight and mist, butterflies mingle, shy seahorses hide in tulips and roses bloom from seashells.
